Welcome to Compass Braille

Based in the UK, Compass Braille is a Registered Charity that transcribes and produces braille Bibles in many languages. We also produce braille books and booklets that are used in Churches, Schools, Training Programmes and Community Healthcare Projects to meet the specific needs of groups who work among visually impaired people. Braille is an important commodity and for many the ownership of one or two braille volumes is the most valuable thing they possess. Braille readers get as much enjoyment from reading as their sighted counterparts, the difference is that braille readers, especially in developing countries, do not have a readily available supply of reading materials at their disposal.
At the present time we are aware of requests for 5,000 braille Bible volumes for which we do not have the funding Good News at their fingertips
We rely heavily on donations in order to continue in our quest to make braille accessible to as many visually impaired people as possible. Please help us to lessen the inequality that braille readers experience by donating now.
