Family Matters is currently funded by Social Service departments, Health and Local Authorities. Grants have also been received from Trusts such as Children in Need, the Kings Fund, Goldsmiths Company, The Allen Lane Foundation and the Forresters Child Abuse Fund. Statutory funding meets sixty per cent of total annual expenditure.
It is not enough. Money is needed for us to progress our work and support the growing numbers of people who come to us for help. More money is needed to enable us to extend further the reach and range of our services.
