The Quality Network
What is it?
The Quality Network provides a new path to improving quality in services for people with learning disabilities and enables you to find out the reality of life for those using your services.
The Quality Network
- makes you part of a growing group who put quality services for people with learning disabilities high on the agenda
- gives you access to the best practice in the UK
- provides experienced senior managers and service commissions who act at "Quality Coaches" supporting the local team in carrying
- out the review process
- supports providers to carry out an annual service review with users and their families and key workers
- uses simple methods to look at quality, with assessors spending time directly alongside the service user
- offers people with learning disabilities and their families a say in how their services are run
- encourages providers to make an annual public statement and commitment to improving their services and to complete a clear plan
- to do so
- gives a Quality Network award to organisations completing all stages of the process
- helps commissioners identify "best value".
