Keeping People Safe

This theme will support work in your organisation to protect children and adults with learning disabilities from abuse, exploitation and harm. Drawing on our national experience we are keen to work with you to develop supports and system practice which offer safety to the individual without compromising their right and desire to live an inclusive ordinary lifestyle. The theme is particularly interested to develop innovative and individual ways of keeping children and adults with learning disabilities safe from harm as they achieve more independence in inclusive community settings.
