- Dual carriageway for 7 miles follow signs for city centre
- At roundabout under fly-over follow signs for G-Mex

- At roundabout 1st exit M66
- 1 mile to end of M66, roundabout take 2nd exit A576 Manchester
- After 2 miles turn left at Haffway House Pub onto A556
