Person Centred Approaches in 2002

Local training days from as little as £25 per person.

People who use services, the Government and service providers are increasingly seeking to place Person Centred Planning at the heart of service planning and delivery. To support this exciting development, throughout 2002 the NDT is offering our Person Centred Planning Approaches training across the country at reduced daily rates.

Person Centred Planning Workshop

A day of information and training of how to implement or improve Person Centred Approaches.

This day introduces the foundations of Person Centred Planning, explaining the family of approaches that it encompasses, including:

  • PATH
  • Personal Futures Planning
  • Essential Lifestyles planning
  • Maps

Understanding the different methods and when to use them will give you the tools to respond to individual need and desire in more effective and creative ways.

We will also explore how to help your service move towards more Person Centred Approaches and how to safeguard these new ways of working for long term quality and value.

The day includes advice and suggestions on next steps, including further training and consultancy.

The day costs £500 + VAT. This includes all course materials. Reasonable consultants expenses are charged in addition to this price. These will be discussed with you before the day is booked. All participants will receive an information and commissioners pack. Up to 20 people can attend each session. Follow up days cost from £350 to £500 + VAT per day.
